Endlessly curious and fascinated by the off-beat backroads of culture, music, technology and art. I have a passion for motorcycle expeditions and hope to run a Ural across a continent. I grew up climbing and skiing in Montana, surfing in Hawaii, then put roots down in Los Angeles working as camera operator in the film and television business after film school, before setting out to be a designer.
My background as a creative director, art director and designer has been to create digital concepts that are the key platform to grow businesses. From early on, I have believed and advocated that design can be a strategic differentiator for a brand and its digital products.
I strive to connect brand communications and digital products on screens with shared experiences, beyond pixels, in an authentic way. The approach is for my work to be beautiful, useful, contextual and hopefully influence culture and innovate new business practices.
Whether it is a conceptual digital experience, branded content or purchase channels integrated into social media, I offer a multi-disciplined set of skills and thinking.
With the fundamental ability to shepherd a project from creative brief through production, I believe there is always a necessity to encourage and question whether is it useful, delightful or if we need to innovate a new approach. When collaboration is fostered between creative technologists, user experience, animators, writers and designers–projects can be delivered beyond expectations.
